How its diff from a job

It is a job. The edge is how quickly your scope grows.

The Mosaic Fellowship is a paid, one-year, full-time role, not an internship or training programme. You join one function, work a five-day week, receive a salary, payslips and benefits, and build documented professional work experience.

Responsibility comes earlier.

Your work sits close to real decisions.

AI becomes part of how you operate.

Feedback is frequent and direct.

Your scope grows as quickly as you do.

Depth in 1 function

Choose depth. Build range through the work.

You join one home function and spend the year getting close to how it really works: the problems it owns, the people it serves, the calls it makes, and the numbers it moves.

You may work with other teams when the problem needs it. But the goal is not to collect surface-level exposure across ten teams. The goal is to understand one part of the business deeply enough to build inside it (become an L5)

Your function is matched through your interests, interview performance, and business needs. You will know it before you sign your offer.

Where do we expect fellows to be at the end of 90 days + what happens after 1 year?

Shresth

By 30 days

You should feel integrated into the org.

You know your team, understand the basics of how the business works, and have a clear sense of your first problem statement or workstream. You have also started learning how AI is used at Mosaic, and how it can become part of your everyday work.

By 90 days

You should have moved from learning the system to building inside it.

You have worked on a real problem, used AI where it helped you research, build, automate or improve the work, taken feedback, changed your approach, and shipped something the team can actually use.

You are also starting to build relationships across the org, understand how decisions get made, and ask sharper questions about how work can be done better.

By 1 year

You should have a body of work you can actually defend.

Not just “I was around for this,” but “I worked on this, this is what changed, and this is what I learnt.”

You should understand one function deeply, use AI naturally in how you work, and have proof of what you can do.

What happens after 1 year?

The Fellowship is designed for retention, but conversion is earned. Strong performers convert to full-time roles with a compensation increase, depending on their performance.

Last batch: 5 of 7 Fellows converted full-time.

What a full time conversion can look like :)

Shresth Tosniwal

Fellow → full-time → Head of Nutrimix, Little Joys

Shresth later led Nutrimix with one other team member as the category scaled from roughly ₹30 Cr to ₹300 Cr.

This is the group that will make the year better, harder, and more memorable.

You will enter with around 19 other Fellows who are just as hungry to prove themselves. They will question your ideas, push you to do better work, call you out when you are playing small, and have your back when the week gets rough.

You will sit in meetings together, compare notes across functions, go for dinners, play pickleball, head out on treks, celebrate wins, complain a little, laugh a lot, and collect the kind of stories that make the year feel bigger than the work alone.

The Fellowship ends after a year. The bonds, memories, career advice, late-night calls, and people rooting for you do not have to.

In short: you get a cohort that pushes you to your limit and still has your back while you grow.
